New QN Office Opens in ‘ Island of Gods’ Bali, Indonesia
Strategically situated between Legian, Denpasar and Nusadua, the new QuestNet Office in Bali, Indonesia opened with a Balinese ritual ceremony on Friday, 17 March 2006, an auspicious day according to Bali-Hindu priests.
Part of a Bali-Hindu tradition, ‘Pemelaspas’ is performed before engaging in any activity in a new building. Leading the ceremony was Michael Tham, QuestNet Country Manager for Indonesia, who performed the ‘Pemelaspas’ together with QuestNet Indonesia managers, staff and network leaders. Clad in a traditional Balinese costume and accompanied by a gamelan orchestra, the participants presented offerings, as a crowd of 75 network leaders looked on.
